Duffy's Cut Fundraiser - Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at 17:35
The Duffy's Cut Project is an ongoing investigation into the lives and deaths of 57 Irish immigrants who worked on a stretch of Pennsylvania's railroad in 1832, and died the same year.

The first bones were discovered in 2009. So far, nine bodies have been uncovered and reburied in a proper grave. This summer, the Duffy’s Cut team will begin digging at a new site close to where the first bodies were found, hoping to discover what happened to the remaining 48
victims.

These 57 young Irishmen who died at Duffy's Cut were denied the chance to live the American dream and to be fathers themselves. This Father’s Day, join the Irish-American community in remembering and honoring them, and help the Duffy’s Cut team uncover the rest of this story
and lay the ghosts of Duffy's Cut to rest.

Great raffle items available, including Phillies tickets, a professional photo shoot by Brian Mengini, and gift certificates to Tir Na Nog, Con Murphy’s, The Plough & The Stars and Maggie O’Neills – and much more!
